Netflix is Sticking to What They Know

Netflix is no longer going to add games to list of rentals. Back in September when Qwikster was first announced CEO Reed Hastings mentioned they would be adding video games to their by mail service as properly. However, they are nevertheless providing Blu-ray and 3D discs.
Maybe this is a excellent thought for Netflix since GameFly already has a solid foothold on the videogame-by-mail marketplace. GameFly’s position is solidified by their addition of unlimited Pc games for all members with a valid subscription. Possibly Netflix has learned to stick to what they know, and maintain issues basic.

Kid Icarus: Uprising Has Gone Gold!
Angelic shoot-em-up is complete, as confirmed by Sakurai-san himself.
As winter continues its slushy, frosty trawl across the world (well… unless you have the good fortune to live in the southern hemisphere), many of us are looking forward to the advent of spring.
Hmm? For the flowers and the bunnies and the blossoming, you say? No, no! We look forward to spring because that’s when all the good games come out! Including the splendid-looking Kid Icarus: Uprising, Pit’s first videogame outing in decades.
Indeed, you’ve likely recently seen our own comparison of the vastly different… ish box art for the game in various regions. The game was also the recent focus of a special Everything We Know focus article. Suffice to say, we’ve been getting in the mood for angels kicking butt here at 3DS Buzz of late.
Yet the project lead, Masahiro Sakurai, is known for being something of a perfectionist. He has no qualms whatsoever in delaying a game if it doesn’t meet with his high standards, and it’s always clear from the software he produces that he and his team work hard to create the best possible videogame experiences.
But fear not! Pit’s 3DS debut is well on target to hit your handheld this coming March, as it’s been confirmed that the game has ‘gone gold’ — that’s videogame designer speak for “It’s finished and we’ll be putting it into production now.”

Capcom’s Sour Patch Kids Game Is a Quest To Be Eaten

Capcom will publish a videogame based on the candy brand Sour Patch Kids this winter on Xbox Live Arcade, PC and the PlayStation Network, the publisher announced on Wednesday.
The game, titled World Gone Sour, has players negotiating platforming challenges and solving puzzles as they guide one of the tiny, tart sweets through gigantic but otherwise ordinary real-life environments.
The goal of the game is apparently to land one of these candies in the gullet of a human being. So this particular Sour Patch Kid will travel a great distance to reach his desired human belly. He is going to be one filthy gumdrop when all is said and done. I can only conclude that World Gone Sour is a game about inflicting a deadly and fatal candyborne disease upon the human population.
Chris says: In related news, Ace Attorney Investigations 2 is still not coming out.
