Soul Sacrifice: Full Presentation (in English)

If you do not reside in Japan, chances are you didn’t attend Sony’s Soul Sacrifice reveal conference earlier this week. And probabilities are, if you don’t speak Japanese, you had no idea what was going on when that shaky cam clip of the presentation hit the net.
Fortunately, Sony’s taken care of both points. PlayStation Japan uploaded the entire 34-minute press conference, dubbed in English, in high-definition 720p. You’ll see SCE Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida, Soul Sacrifice conceptor Keiji Inafune, composer Yasunori Mitsuda, other crucial staffers, off-screen single-player gameplay, and direct-feed 4-player gameplay. Watch it below.
Keiji Inafune on Soul Sacrifice localization

Sony Laptop or computer Entertainment Japan, Comcept, and Marvelous AQL have not yet decided upon whether or not they will localize their new PlayStation Vita action fantasy title Soul Sacrifice, according to Comcept boss Keiji Inafune.
Asked by 4Gamer.net whether or not they have plans for overseas PR at E3 this year, Inafune responded:
“An overseas version hasn’t been decided upon yet,” he mentioned. “Since I’ve habitually talked about ‘global’ plans, naturally I am thinking about bringing how to bring this title overseas as properly. From here, I’m communicating back and forth with overseas, including regardless of whether or not we can place it on the industry.”
Inafune also touched briefly on download content material. Simply because of this day and age, he said, download content is element of the game. And so it is being planned for Soul Sacrifice.
PlayStation 3 Owners Appreciate Art More Than Wii Owners Says Developer

Journey developer and thatgamecompany co-founder Jenova Chen has told on the web publication Venture Beat that PlayStation three owners have a higher appreciation of art than each Wii and Xbox 360 owners. Chen then went on to elaborate his claim by stating that Sony has much more artistic and adult-focussed taste.
“The player who owns a PlayStation three is a lot more probably to be interested in artistic games compared to Wii and Xbox 360.”
“Sony has a more artistic and adult-focused taste. They care about how grown-ups really feel toward their games.”
Microsoft To Stream E3 Press Conference Over Xbox LIVE
If you’re the kind of person who wants to stay up to date on what’s going on in the industry of video games, then you almost certainly pay interest to E3. But, if you’re like me, then really attending the Electronic Entertainment Expo is not really a viable alternative.

Fortunately, all hope is not lost. Although you are going to miss out on what’s taking place on the show floor, several of the press conferences are generally streamed over the internet. On top of that, last year, Sony streamed their press conference over the PS3′s Home. This year Microsoft is going to hop on the bandwagon and stream their conference over Xbox Live.
If you’re interested in seeing what announcements Microsoft will have, tune in on Monday, June 4th at ten:00 a.m. PST. Sony will be live at 6:00 p.m. that evening.

Sony Entertainment Network Sponsors Sundance Festival In London
Hello everyone, we’re pleased to report back after two eventful days at the Sundance Festival, sponsored by Sony Entertainment Network here had been our principal highlights.
Friday 27th
14:00 – Arriving at the exquisite INC Club inside the O2 Arena complex, we located ourselves delighted by the organization of Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, who you may as well recognise as Mr. Ekko in Lost, reading his script of Farming (now officially confirmed for production). Among the cast presented we had been surprised to see one of the most talented actresses of our time, Minnie Driver. The reading was emotional and projected us to the harsh reality that this compelling story will bring to the screen.

17:00 -We head straight to a panel hosted by prominent UK and US directors, called ‘Thinking Independently – UK vs. US’.
Guests included Claire Stewart, Sally El Hosaini, James Marsh and Gurinder Chadha from the UK, along with John Cooper, So Yong Kim, Josh Radnor and Ry Russo- Young from the US. Problems of funding independent films from one side to the other were among the most discussed topics.
19:00 – We went to the screening room to see an independent function called Filly Brown, starring upcoming talent Gina Rodriguez, co-directed by Michael Olmo and with original music by Reza Safinia. At the end we enjoyed the business of all three in a tiny Q&A.
Developers of Journey Ready to Announce New Game This Year
![]()
f there’s 1 indie game that has dominated conversations this year, it is Thatgamecompany’s Journey. The team is just wrapping up their three-year contract with Sony, in the course of which they produced Flow and Flower. Whilst they’ve lost a few members to other ventures, that hasn’t stopped them from gearing up to reveal a new game this year. Speaking to VG247, the team has high aspirations of moving swiftly to their subsequent project.
Specifics of the new game are still being kept below wraps, but studio co-counder Jenova Chen has admitted that the team tends to ” intentionally announce our games very early.” Citing the little gaps of time between every game, Chen insists that the team is already crafting a thing new and is at the moment in negotiations with “various partners” for development.
Thatgamecompany is on a high note immediately after the extremely positive reception to Journey. Chen, explained that “If it weren’t for the 3-game deal, we would not have the luxury to be able to create this game. It’s significantly bigger and a more high-priced game and it took us three years to make… Internally, we’re calling Journey the AAA PSN game.” Frankly, I’d have to agree.
