Extreme Escape Adventure Not Currently Planned For Western Release By Aksys
Anyone preparing to pick this up in anything other than Japanese may well be waiting a long time.
We’ve been keeping an optimistic eye on Extreme Escape Adventure: Excellent Men and women Die in the final few months. The psychological visual novel of mindgames, backstabbing and poison-injecting watches has been the source of a lot intrigue from specific 3DS-owning circles specifically fans of its spiritual DS predecessor, Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors.
See this? You can’t have it. Sorry.
However, those who’ve had this game on their radar and have been awaiting news of a Western release as the game’s Japanese February launch date grows closer might be in for a nasty surprise.
Release Date for Capcom Digital Collection Confirmed

Right now Capcom confirmed an official release date for their upcoming compilation of previously Xbox Live Arcade exclusive titles. This collection of eight games will be released for the initial time in physical form, all wrapped up together for you to choose up at your nearby retailer.
The full list of titles in the compilation are: 1942: Joint Strike, Bionic Commando: Rearmed two, Final Fight: Double Impact, Flock!, Rocketmen: Axis of Evil (including the Rocketmen: It Came From Uranus expansion), Super Puzzle Fighter II: Turbo HD Remix, Super Street Fighter II: Turbo HD Remix, and Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3. Capcom should possibly believe about producing much less ridiculously lengthy names for their games.
This eight game collection will be available in North America on March 27, 2012, exclusively for the Xbox 360 for $ 39.99.
Rayman Origins gets official 3DS release date

There has been talk of a 3DS version of Rayman Origins thrown around for a while, but until recently, there was no official confirmation. Well, that changed recently, as Ubisoft has the handheld version of the brilliant platforming game slated for a February 20 release in North America. Check out the trailer after the jump.
The 3DS version of Rayman Origins is just another February release to take note of, others including Resident Evil: Revelations (also for 3DS) and I Am Alive (another Ubisoft title, for XBLA/PSN). Europe actually gets the game a few days earlier, on February 16.
If you didn’t get a chance to play Rayman Origins, you definitely missed out. I played through most of the Xbox 360 version, and let me tell you: this is a proper Rayman title, and one of the best platforming games on the current-gen consoles. I would even put it up there as a runner-up for the best platforming game of 2011, next to the 3DS’s Super Mario 3D Land.
This handheld version should be great – just another fantastic 3DS release in 2012. Check out the “Making Of” video featured on IGN:
Guild Wars 2 Beta Ramping Up To Release Later This Year

Guild Wars 2 is 1 step closer to getting in the tough drives of gamers. Right now ArenaNet announced on their weblog, that the Guild Wars two closed beta will “aggressively ramp up” in size starting in March and April. That will lead to Guild Wars 2′s release later this year. I know my fellow Asura Necromancers are excited that the wait is almost over. For those not familiar with Guild Wars two, it is an upcoming MMO that wants to break free of the genre’s conventions. Guild Wars two will have action oriented combat, a much more natural quest technique, and no monthly charges. Plus it’s lovely. Check it out in action below.
I’ve in no way been in a position to get into an MMO. Even MMO’s that appear geared directly at me like Star Wars The Old Republic or DC Universe On the internet haven’t gotten me quite interested. Guild Wars two, though, has me anxiously awaiting it is release. You can get info on the game at it’s official website.

‘Shank 2′ Gets a Release Date and Price

February 7th you’ll be shanking some more in Klei Entertainment’s bloody 2D brawler.
And with just 3 weeks away, we see that publisher EA is being a little friendlier with the value on the sequel: 800 MS Points on XBLA or $ 9.99 on PSN, down from the $ 15/1200 points value of the original. Also: there will be hobo costumes.
Here’s the official line on the game:

Players can put Shank’s trusty arsenal of handguns, chainsaws, grenades, plus all-new weapons to use in order to guard those close to him.
Introducing an all-new Survival Mode, gamers can team up with a friend on-line or locally, working together to take down hordes of goons in an action-packed, arcade-style brawl.
