A new month means a new 8static, and this month’s line-up will be creating sweet, sweet chip music enjoy to your ears once again. Chip’s Challenge will be coming down from Rochester, NY with their LSDJ enabled PSP playing in harmony with their punk rock sound. Bubblegum Octopus, from New Jersey, will be bringing his varied and unique music style. Finally, Minusbaby will be coming from NYC and bringing the bass with him.
This month’s workshop will feature Marjorie Becker, who you may know as Chiptography. She will be discussing her experiences of covering the chip scene. You also have the open mic to look forward to, and if you’re interested in performing make positive you get there early to sign up. NPD: Mario Party 9 Stands Strong In Top Ten, Xenoblade Nowhere To Be Seen
April’s NPD software program sales are in and they show that Mario Celebration 9 continues to be a best-selling franchise for Nintendo. Mario Party 9 was the seventh finest-selling game during a dismal April, which saw computer software sales at retail down by a whopping 48%. Despite analysts predictions Xenoblade Chronicles failed to enter the all-format best ten.

Unchained Blades Coming to 3DS as a Downloadable Title

Could Nintendo Power have leaked the very first downloadable 3DS retail game?
Xseed, Publishers of The Final Story in Europe, not too long ago teased a new game over twitter which has been confirmed to be the upcoming dungeon crawler UnchainBlade ReXX. Released last year for the PSP, the game attributes a planet populated entierly by monsters. As children, they have a human form, but sprout wings when they achieve their accurate power.
The primary character is the king of the Dragon race, which is the most potent race in their planet. When his power becomes a threat, a goddess becomes angered and seals him into a human form to seal his powers away.
A preview page from America’s Nintendo Power magazine has confirmed that the game’s U.S. title will be Unchained Blades and suggests that it will be a downloadable title on the 3DS. Nintendo recently announced that publishers would be in a position to use this method for distribution, meaning that this could be 1 of the 1st digital download retail game releases on the program.
We are nevertheless waiting for direct confirmation from Xseed that this will be coming as a downloadable title.
