Capcom is calling Resident Evil 6 their “biggest project” to date. Including the 150 developers in Japan, executive producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi is boasting that they have a total of 600 members operating on the game in distinct capacities worldwide.
“Resident Evil 6 is by far and away the most ambitious game in the series,” Kobayashi stated in a video message. The magnitude that Capcom is suggesting coincides with the current announcement of a split plotline, with one story following Leon S. Kennedy and the other focusing on Chris Redfield.
Like their respective latest games, footage of Leon seems to lean towards survival horror, although Redfield’s story seems to feature significantly a lot more straight-on action. Producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi explained that the game is intended to blent the two genres to make a thing Capcom is calling “dramatic horror.”

Three Kingdom Hearts 3DS bundles coming out in Japan, including limited edition 3DS

1st Konami teased us with the unique edition 3DS for Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D, and now we get wind of Square-Enix’s fancy Kingdom Hearts-style 3DS. It seems like we never get something cool, but at least Nintendo gave us the 25th Anniversary Legend of Zelda 3DS model.
Naturally, there is not any word about bringing this fancy 3DS model to North America, but Square-Enix confirmed that there will be 3 diverse bundles when Kingdom Hearts [Dream Drop Distance] comes out in Japan. Initial, the regular release consists of a bonus AR card that unlocks an in-game Dream Eater. The second is a 10th Anniversary specific edition package, and the third is the limited edition bundle featuring the 3DS model above.
No value or bonus details were mentioned for the latter two deals.
We’ll let you know if Square-Enix decides to treat American gamers with this fancy 3DS – but do not count on it.
