Japanese publication Famitsu has announced that Nintendo has sold 6,017,206 Nintendo 3DS consoles given that it launched in Japan. It was revealed earlier right now that Nintendo has almost sold a single million Nintendo 3DS consoles in the United Kingdom.

V Jump this week has first look at the next Dragon Ball from Namco Bandai.

Due this fall, Dragon Ball: Sparking Omega (Sparking is Budokai Tenkaichi in Japan), will be the final release in the Sparking series, and include the biggest amount of fighters to date. Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Vegeta are confirmed fighters.

It is due in Japan this winter for PlayStation three and Xbox 360. Expect an official announcement soon.

Western fans of Monster Hunter have been eagerly waiting for Monster Hunter Tri G since it released in Japan last year. It looks like they will have to wait a although longer.

As I previously covered, Monster Hunter Tri G has been doing fairly effectively for itself since its Japanese release last year. The game has sold a ton of copies but has however to see a western release. While a lot of fans have been waiting in earnest, it looks like they will have to keep waiting for some time. A Capcom staff member took to the unity forums and explained the scenario a bit to the members.

Hang in there, guys. Sadly nothing’s been announced for the West and I can not tell you to hold your breath for E3 either. But Monster Hunter’s not carried out in the West. It’s just going to take a little longer for some thing to hit our shores.

Essentially, those of us that had been seeking forward to a achievable announcement of the game at E3 are out of luck. Even although Monster Hunter Tri G has sold incredibly well, the industry in the west is significantly smaller than in Japan. Do not feel that Capcom has forgotten you though! The staff member went on to speak a bit about their continued help of past Monster Hunter games and the expenses of undertaking so.

I know it’s been awhile considering that we’ve had a new MH game, but for what it’s worth, it ain’t low-cost to keep those Tri servers running. Take that as a symbol of our ongoing stake in the franchise until we can get an actual game over here.

Generally, although we typically take it for granted, keeping the servers to play Monster Hunter Tri on-line is a key funds drain for Capcom. It is a big part of the game although and has been kept on-line. Capcom has had a bit of a poor reputation lately, but that at least should win it some very good will from fans.

Nintendo has ultimately carried out it. They’ve crossed the line. Their Japanese branch has announced that, due only to its color, the Aqua Blue 3DS will be eliminated. Well, eliminated from retailers, at least.

Whilst this atrocity is taking spot over in Japan, we here in the excellent ol’ freedom-loving USA, land of supreme liberty, are standing robust. Relating to the Japanese Aqua Blue genocide, Nintendo of America had this to say: “We have absolutely nothing to announce about the Aqua Blue Nintendo 3DS in our territory at this time.” You see? We are unshakable in our indecisiveness.

So let this be a lesson to you. If you have a portable gaming technique that is just a bit brighter than the others, you’d greater cherish your time together, because sooner or later it’s going to be shot down by the man, and you do not want it to run away in hopes of rebuilding it is shattered species, do you? Of course you do not.

Kingdom Hearts director Tetsuya Nomura has announced in the most up-to-date situation of Famitsu that the Sora scenario Traverse Town demo – which is currently available in Japan, is coming to the North American Nintendo 3DS eShop. I’m confident Square Enix will announce a date for the North American Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance demo fairly soon.

If you do not reside in Japan, chances are you didn’t attend Sony’s Soul Sacrifice reveal conference earlier this week. And probabilities are, if you don’t speak Japanese, you had no idea what was going on when that shaky cam clip of the presentation hit the net.

Fortunately, Sony’s taken care of both points. PlayStation Japan uploaded the entire 34-minute press conference, dubbed in English, in high-definition 720p. You’ll see SCE Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida, Soul Sacrifice conceptor Keiji Inafune, composer Yasunori Mitsuda, other crucial staffers, off-screen single-player gameplay, and direct-feed 4-player gameplay. Watch it below.

Whenever I consider of Nintendo now, as in console colors, I think of blue.  PlayStation has red, Xbox has green, and Nintendo has had a blue (and white I guess) theme since the Wii was launched.  How ironic it is that they have decided to discontinue the blue Nintendo 3DS.  That is, they’ve decided to kill of the blue 3DS in Japan.  No official word to regardless of whether or not this will affect U.S. sales, but we can assume they’ll be gone fast if this selection is global.

The decision to get rid of the blue color is speculated to be triggered by poor sales of that certain color in Japan, but that is just what’s on the rumor mill.  One issue is particular, if you have a blue a single now, you have a cool small piece of background and now Wikipedia is going to have to adjust their 3DS page.

Sony Laptop or computer Entertainment Japan, Comcept, and Marvelous AQL have not yet decided upon whether or not they will localize their new PlayStation Vita action fantasy title Soul Sacrifice, according to Comcept boss Keiji Inafune.

Asked by 4Gamer.net whether or not they have plans for overseas PR at E3 this year, Inafune responded:

“An overseas version hasn’t been decided upon yet,” he mentioned. “Since I’ve habitually talked about ‘global’ plans, naturally I am thinking about bringing how to bring this title overseas as properly. From here, I’m communicating back and forth with overseas, including regardless of whether or not we can place it on the industry.”

Inafune also touched briefly on download content material. Simply because of this day and age, he said, download content is element of the game. And so it is being planned for Soul Sacrifice.
