First Footage of Sony’s PS Vita Dark Fantasy Action Game ‘Soul Sacrifice” Emerges

By Jeffrey Matulef

souls First Footage of Sonys PS Vita Dark Fantasy Action Game Soul Sacrifice Emerges

It often strikes me as silly when publishers release a trailer for a trailer, but I’ll be darned if this teaser for the PS Vita fantasy-action game, Soul Sacrifice, does not pique my curiosity.

Upon face value, its gritty dark fantasy aesthetic and title resemble From Software’s Demon’s Souls series, but Soul Sacrifice is getting created by Sony’s Japan Studio rather than From Software program. Japan Studio did play a hand in making Demon’s Souls, nonetheless, and Sony owns the IP, so a spinoff remains a possible, albeit unlikely scenario.

Final month an ad for the game was leaked from the upcoming problem of Japanese gaming magazine, Famitsu. Component of the ad translates to, “the action game that shakes your soul.”

A Flash ad right after the teaser cryptically explains, “It really is not about cooperation,” prior to adding “It really is about fighting shoulder to shoulder.” This hints at some sort of mix amongst competitive and cooperative gaming, and the whole point looks like a really bleak Monster Hunter.

Thankfully, we will not have to wait lengthy to find out a lot more. The game’s official reveal will be Thurs, Could 10th, where Sony will hold an announcement event for the game in Tokyo, Japan.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II’s First Trailer Reveals Future Warfare, Walking Tanks and Horse Chases

Call of Duty: Black Ops II is now officially official — much more official than ever — as the debut trailer for Treyarch’s sequel to the Cold War era shooter has been revealed. Set in the year 2025, Black Ops II will see the return of Sgt. Frank Woods and the introduction of future war technology that includes flying drones, walking tanks and all-new, never-before-noticed approaches to kill scores of virtual soldiers.

The initial Call of Duty: Black Ops II trailer shows a future Los Angeles below siege from hijacked drones and warplanes, intermingled with some low-tech battles on horseback. It looks spectacular and explosion-filled, the sort of action we’ve come to expect from Activision’s Call of Duty brand.

Black Ops II is coming November 13, 2012.

Skyrim’s First DLC Pack is Officially Titled Dawnguard

dawnguard thumb Skyrim’s First DLC Pack is Officially Titled Dawnguard

It seems as if Bethesda feels like we’ve explored all we can of the current content material in Skyrim, as they’ve announced the game’s very first DLC pack, entitledDawnguard. Regrettably, the title and the world’s most nondescript image of Dovahkiin had been all that was provided.

As far as facts go, we’re left with the rumors we had prior to, which include crossbows and Snow Elves. The name Dawnguard does have a bit of an elvish sound to it, even though. Could we be heading back to Morrowind? We don’t know, but worry not, I’m sure somewhere there’s a team of crack net scientists furiously scanning the hairs in Dovahkiin’s beard, hunting for some sort of hint left there by Bethesda.

The (assumed) expansion is due to be released this Summer, and in order with previously announced timed exclusivity, will be creating its way to the Xbox 360 1st, with other platforms to adhere to at least a month immediately after. A lot more facts had been promised for E3, so we can infer that we will not be seeing Dawnguard until properly after the event in early June.

early2012troubles What Sports Game From The First Third of the Year Failed The Most?

The key releases from the very first four months of 2012 may possibly very best be remembered for their key concerns than what they got correct. There had been a few great games in the mix but even those didn’t arrive in clean fashion or even repair what ailed them later on.

That got me to thinking – which of these games failed you and/or what businesses have been the most unethical with their practices? A considerable investment is produced regardless of whether $ 20 for the UEFA DLC, $ 60 for the normal retail games, or $ 80 for these who purchased both versions of The Show. It’s unfortunate that problems of such a nature that truely impact the expertise and worth have arisen with these games and the severity of them have certainly stood out beyond what is usually accepted as the norm. Continue on for a recap of exactly where these games have faltered, vote in the poll, and leave your thoughts on the topic in the comments.

ncaa12fletchercox Top 10 Teams That Improved In Madden NFL 13 Through the First 3 Rounds of the Draft

The very first 3 rounds of the NFL Draft are in the books so the opportunity arises to analyze how the developments of the past two nights will have an effect on teams in Madden NFL 13.

This evaluation mainly considers the improvement over the make-up of the teams last year rather than just who chose the highest rated men and women. In that sense just replacing a player who was lost to cost-free agency with a rookie wouldn’t represent an upgrade of significance. Positional importance is also a main aspect.

Continue on for the teams that made selections which will help them the most in Madden NFL 13 and leave your own thoughts in the comments!

(ten) Browns – Trent Richardson, Brandon Weeden, Mitchell Schwartz, John Hughes
Cleveland does get a new impact RB – but Brandon Weeden will come in not rated considerably greater than Colt McCoy. The team also nonetheless lacks a playmaking receiver getting passed more than the instant impact guys.

(9) Bears – Shea McClellin, Alshon Jeffery, Brandon Hardin
These are good quality pickups for Chicago with McClellin offering yet another swift pass rusher and Jeffery a massive target in the passing game and specifically in the red zone.
