<p>Activision and Beenox revealed the very first official screenshot for <em>The Amazing Spider-Man</em> game tie-in these days on the official Facebook page and, sadly, it&#8217;s not as action-packed as we had hoped. That&#8217;s not to say it does not look excellent &#8211; the suit is nicely detailed to match what we&#8217;ve seen in earlier shots, but I just wish there was much more to appear at.<span id="more-70608"></span></p>
<p>Thankfully, the trailer that was released a month or so ago does reveal fairly a bit far more than this easy nonetheless shot. If you haven&#8217;t seen that specific trailer yet you can check it out beneath considering that were in a pretty trailer-y mood right now. If Activision and Beenox don&#8217;t really feel like giving us some cool artwork I guess we&#8217;ll just preserve staring at what we&#8217;ve already got.</p>
<p><em>The Incredible Spider-Man</em> hits theaters July 3rd, 2012 and the game will land for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, DS and 3DS around the same time.</p>

<p>Yes. Tony Jaa himself is involved in this game and it is equally critical to tell you that master Panna Rittikrai [Ed: Thai martial arts action choreographer, Tony Jaa's mentor, <em>Ong-Bak</em> director and screenwriter] and his stunt team are heavily involved as he is designing action sequences and fighting moves for this game.</p>
<p><strong>How considerably creative manage was Studio HIVE given more than what is an existing IP?</strong></p>
<p>The team at Sahamongkol Film International is very supportive and they allow us to pitch ideas not only concerning gameplay but also visual and story components as nicely.</p>

<p>Combat is quite impressive in Darksiders II (not that it wasn’t in Darksiders), as you have your basic moves from Evade, Jump and Death’s primary weapon: his dual Scythes that change shape as Death performs diverse combos of attack.  From being joined together to form a single weapon to tossing an enemy in the air, they are very impressive.  Death’s secondary weapons can be combined with the Scythe maneuvers and form an impressive combo.  Ghost Hand that I touched on above can also be utilized throughout combat as Death will be pulled closer to an enemy, permitting him to get up close and personal with a single of the many mini-bosses he will face let’s just say Death can reach out and touch someone in brief order.  Death can also use his Reaper Form, were he can carry out a Reaper attack that supplies a quick death to his enemies. <p>Tony Hawk and Activision officially announced the upcoming <em>Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD </em>at the 2011 VGA’s. <p>The <em>Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater </em>series was 1 of my favorites on the PlayStation and the PlayStation two the first few games in the franchise truly appealed to both gamers and skaters alike. <em>Tony Hawk’s Underground </em>was the final game I really enjoyed, since the following installment – <em>Tony Hawk’s Underground two – </em>officially marked the downfall of the series, introducing obnoxious <em>Jackass-</em>inspired antics to its ridiculous Profession Mode. Right after that, <em>American Wasteland, Downhill Jam, Project 8, </em>and the laughable <em>Ride </em>diluted the franchise with gimmicky garbage no 1 truly seemed to want. EA’s <em>Skate </em>series picked up a lot of steam and effectively sent Tony Hawk and Co. into hiatus.</p>
<p>Soon after a couple of years, it appears that Activision is lastly listening to the fans – <em>Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD </em>is essentially a compilation of the best stuff from the initial two games, <em>THPS </em>and <em>THPS2. </em>Of course, some of the moves from the later games – reverts, spine transfers – will also be included in the downloadable title.</p>

<p>There are only three confirmed levels – Warehouse, Downhill, and School (<em>THPS2</em>), but the developers have apparently accomplished more than sharpen the graphics, they’re truly utilizing the original game files from <em>THPS </em>and <em>THPS2 </em>to make certain that the re-produced maps are perfectly authentic. I would truly like to see some other favorites from the past games<em> - </em>Downtown, Roswell, San Francisco, New York City, Venice Beach, Skatestreet – and I’m sure many of them will at some point make the cut. This is just speculation, but I would think about all of the levels from <em>Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2x – </em>an original Xbox launch title – will be featured in <em>THPS HD.</em></p>

<p>Returning skaters include favorites like Tony Hawk, Rodney Mullen, and Andrew Reynolds. There are also some newer skaters introduced to the mix – Chris Cole, Nyjah Houston, and Tony’s son, Riley Hawk. Secret characters have also been confirmed none have been mentioned especially, but I would guess that we will see Ollie the Magic Bum and possibly Spider-man.</p>
<p>The visuals in <em>THPS HD </em>clearly appear a lot better, which you can see in the trailer below:</p>
<p>Regrettably, there is some tragic news for fans of the classic games to stomach: the re-make won’t feature the original soundtracks from <em>THPS </em>and <em>THPS2. </em>This is a <em>true </em>bummer for me component of the enjoyable was skating to music from Dead Kennedys, Primus, Goldfinger, Negative Religion, and “Guerilla Radio” from Rage Against the Machine. In truth, I <em>still </em>assume of <em>THPS2 </em>every single single time I hear “Guerilla Radio”. This is largely due to licensing concerns Activision promises that the soundtrack in <em>THPS HD </em>will be suitable for the game, but it will be challenging to replace those classic songs while skating via the game.</p>
<p>The classic gameplay remains largely unchanged – two-minute sessions in each and every level, with different challenges and objectives to total as swiftly as doable in that time span. Apparently the “Secret Tapes” have been changed to DVDs (very good ol’ modernization), but that appears to be the only key adjust. I would like to see the “Sick” score challenges from the later games return, specifically with the addition of reverts – scoring 50,000 points just will not be a challenge in these classic levels, now that you can basically keep a combo going for as long as you can maintain your balance. Tony Hawk seemed to be excited about the controls, saying <em>THPS HD </em>would be a quite smooth encounter like its classic predecessors.</p>

<p>Not a lot else is known at this point about <em>THPS HD, </em>but you can be sure to see much more details about this title as it comes out. At the VGAs, it was announced that the game would cost much less than $  20 – rumors point to $  15, or 1200 Microsoft Points on Xbox Reside. There is nonetheless no official release date, but Activision has targeted a summer 2012 release.</p>
