Get a New Taste of The Last of Us in this Cinematic Trailer

Joel and Ellie are headed west, driving along in a beat up pickup truck with Hank Williams, Sr. serenading them. The Final of Us was unveiled amid quite a few announcements about six months ago, then went dark. Naughty Dog has been prepping to show far more at E3, but today released a trailer that reveals subtle modifications to the game. Ellie has observed some redesign to make her seem much more like actress Ashley Johnson (as properly as the probable, but unstated, intent of looking less like Ellen Page). The cinematic shows off far more of the planet of The Last of Us, and takes us inside some of the many trials we’ll face from the perspectives of Joel and Ellie.

SCEA Registers “Forsaken Souls The Game” Domain

SCEA Registers “Forsaken Souls The Game” Domain

A new domain registration by Sony Personal computer Entertainment America could hint at an upcoming game from the publisher.

Spotted by Superannuation, SCEA registered forsakensoulsthegame.com earlier this month. The proximity to E3 does recommend that it might be a new title, even though the “Souls” could mean that it is element of the Demon’s Souls series or associated to Soul Sacrifice – though why the domain is registered by SCEA rather than SCEJ could mean otherwise.

Hopefully we’ll find out at E3, but in the meantime be sure to check out all the other unnanounced PS3 games that may be in development.

TombRaider thumb Tomb Raider Pushed Back to 2013

This appears to be the month of game delays. Following Bioshock Infinite, the upcoming reboot for Tomb Raider has also been pushed back to the initial quarter of 2013. Head of Studio at Crystal Dynamics, Darrell Gallagher, told the community that this was done in order to polish and deliver a truly excellent Tomb Raider experience.

We’re performing items that are entirely new to Tomb Raider in this game and the additional development time will let us to place the finishing touches into the game and polish it to a level that you deserve. We believe this is the correct alternative and I guarantee it will be worth the wait. The game is searching incredible and we cannot wait to show it to every person at E3 in a couple of weeks.

Even though undoubtedly disappointing, I welcome this delay with open arms. Even although the current Guardian of Light was a wonderful game, It has been years given that we’ve had a good conventional Tomb Raider platformer, and even though the E3 2011 stage demo looked great, with a couple of much more months of polishing, I feel Tomb Raider fans will finally get a game worth talking about.

Retailer listing causes confusion more than Luigi’s subsequent adventure

Back at E3 2011, Nintendo created an announcment that made a great quantity of Nintendo fans pleased: The oft-overlooked Luigi’s Mansion would be obtaining a 3-dimensional sequel on Nintendo’s latest handheld! Even though the original didn’t precisely set the globe alight, it was a solid addition to the GameCube’s launch line up and gained a strong fan following.

Even though Luigi’s Mansion two will absolutely be happening, some confusion has popped up today with regards to what platform, or platforms, the game will be launching on popular web site Play.com have the game listed for the Wii U with no other data. Naturally this is no confirmation, but so a lot of games have been leaked thanks to retail listings that to blindly ignore the listing would be merely foolish.

So what could this mean? There are 3 possibilities: The game has been moved to the Wii U, the game will be releasing on both Nintendo consoles, or completely absolutely nothing. It is perfectly achievable that Play.com simply produced a balls-up, and Nintendo have by no means even considered a Wii U Luigi’s Mansion.

How do you 3DSBuzzers really feel about this? Do you want a Wii U version in place of or in addition to the 3DS version? Or possibly you’d rather it just stuck to the 3DS altogether?
