The initial developer diary (or zeroth) for the Xbox 360 version of The Witcher two: Assassin of Kings went live right now. In it, developer CD Projekt talks up the Xbox 360 version as an “adaptation,” rather than a straightforward port. It is getting ‘rebuilt’ to feel native to the console, but have the same fidelity as the Computer version. It is added new intelligent camera technique, new controls, a new targeting program, a new console-friendly user interface, and “significant new content material, and other capabilities.”

The Witcher two is due for Xbox 360 on April 17. It will be “one of the greatest looking titles to come out to Xbox 360,” according to the clip. Watch the developer diary beneath.

NEWS: Mass Effect 3 cast revealed in a new developer diary

NEWS: Cave bringing classic “bullet hell” scrolling shooter Mushihime-sama to Xbox 360

Scrolling shooter developer Cave has announced that they will be bringing the Japanese hit game Mushihime-sama to the Xbox 360.

As 1 may well anticipate, the game will be remastered with HD visuals and widescreen assistance, but no other functions have been announced but. Cave did hint that there would be some sort of bonus content, however.

Mushihime-sama, originally released on the PlayStation 2 in 2005, is a prime instance of the “bullet hell” subgenre of scrolling shooters, in which the screen becomes so cluttered with enemy projectiles, they practically obscure the whole screen.
