Aliens: Colonial Marines Gets a Release Date and Trailer

Aliens: Colonial Marines is coming out worldwide on February 12, 2013. This isn’t the expected late fall-winter release, but what’s wrong with a small further time? The footage is really familiar, as I have noticed most of it in the course of the single-player playthrough at PAX East. This indicates Gearbox is still only showing off about 20 minutes of the game. I enjoyed that time, and yes, the suspense starts proper away. What of the middle and finish of the game? If February 12 is what it takes to see a complete release, then I’ll take it.

Release Date Set for Resonance

Resonance, the newest indie adventure from Wadjet Eye Games is on its way to PCs June 19th. This game is a retro-style point and click thriller. Resonance will take players through a detailed story about what occurs when a brilliant particle physicist dies and his operate falls into the wrong hands. Mad Riders release date set

Ubisoft and Techland’s Mad Riders, its upcoming cel-shaded “extreme” off-roa arcade racer, will debut for PlayStation Network on May 29 and on Xbox Reside Arcade and Pc on Might 30, the publisher has announced.

Dishonored Gets an Official Release Date

Dishonored, the new steampunk stealth/shooter by Arkane Studios and Bethesda, now has an official release date. US audiences will be finding the game on October 9th, UK audiences will be getting it on the 12th, and Australia will get it on the 11th. Dishonored is becoming headed up by Harvey Smith, a veteran of the genre with games such as Deus Ex and Thief: Deadly Shadows under his belt.

In Dishonored, players will take control of a former guardsman, Corvo, who has been framed for the death of the Empress. Corvo must clear his name and get revenge against the Lord Reagent. Whilst like most assassins Corvo will be skilled in each melee and lengthy ranged, he will also have supernatural powers such as teleportation and freezing time.

The game will take spot on an open globe map with an emphasis on carrying out anything. Like most open planet games, you will stumble on random events such as muggings and you will be in a position to either assist the muggers or cease them. The game will offer even more depth than that, however – for instance, you will have the likelihood to locate the muggers before the crime occurs, thus stopping the mugging from ever happening.

Perhaps you’d like to know that in a mere 21 days, the game’s new expansion, Wrath of the Lamb, will be released for only three dollars. Okay, I can see your hesitation. How about I throw in this right here trailer for the new expansion. With equal parts adorable and horrifying, it is a best representation of The Binding of Isaac. Nintendo to go Day and Date With Digital and Retail Sales

New Super Mario Bros. 2 kicks off the Huge N’s embracing of significant digital releases.

During a recent presentation to investors, Nintendo’s president and CEO Satoru Iwata announced that the publisher would be making a push towards releasing boxed versions of games alongside their digital counterparts. A project codenamed “Onitore” will be element of this push, with New Super Mario Bros. for the 3DS.

Games will download straight to your SD card from the Nintendo eShop, or you can buy 16-digit download codes from retailers. Iwata acknowledges that the eShop nonetheless isn’t the optimal buying experience for gamers but says that Nintendo is operating on it. He also quashed any queries about sharing games among devices, meaning a single device, one copy of the game.

The Last of Us Release Date Surfaces at EB Games

The Last of Us, the most recent from Uncharted developer Naughty Dog, has been given a November 9 release date at EB Games Canada. Sony has not confirmed the claim, but this is a great indication we may see the PS3 exclusive survival game in time for the 2012 holiday season.

The Last of Us is described as a character driven tale with survival and action elements. It takes place in a post-apocalyptic United States, exactly where a plague has morphed most of the population into one thing much less than human.

At this point, I would usually roll my eyes and move on. An additional zombie apocalypse, you say? What a novel notion! Nevertheless, the raw storytelling energy in Naughty Dog’s Uncharted series really should be adequate to get everybody excited for their next adventure. They turned a seemingly cliché treasure hunter into a thing remarkable, and there’s no cause to think they won’t do the same with The Final of Us.
