Shoot Many Robots trailer

shootmanyrobots Shoot Many Robots trailer

Ubisoft yesterday released a new trailer for upcoming PSN (or must that be SEN?) and Xbox Live Arcade title Shoot Many Robots.

The trailer introduces you to some of the robots you will be shooting. Right after watching the trailer it does appear that numerous robots will be shot. Fairly an apt title for a game it seems.

Shoot Numerous Robots will be released on the PS3 and Xbox 360 as a downloadable title this year.

Resident Evil: Revelations Review – Scaring The Ship Out of You

It is difficult to think that fifteen years have passed considering that the release of the first Resident Evil. In some methods, the series has come along way. Resident Evil: Revelations is the eighth game in the series, so extended as you’re following canon and excluding the myriad remakes, spin offs and string of terrible movies.

Despite the reinvention of the series in Resident Evil 4, the series has relied mostly on the exact same old survival horror tricks – fighting monsters, collecting and conserving resources, solving puzzles whilst submitting to the odd low-cost scare, and chaffing under the weight of a cheesy script and illogical a single liners. For far better or worse, Resident Evil: Revelations definitely fits the series.

In contrast to last year’s Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D, Revelations attributes a robust single player campaign that combines each the slow burn style of the earlier games, and the quicker paced method of the much more current installments. Considering that most 3DS games are speedy to remind you to take frequent breaks, Revelations plays out in episodic fashion, which in fact suits the common pacing of the story. There is even a “Previously in Resident Evil” recap in in between every episode.

The story is set in 2005, for the duration of the gap amongst Resident Evil four and 5. The Bioweapons employed by Umbrella have fallen into the hands of the black market and have been wantonly passed among all sorts of terrorist organizations. The most prominent of these is known as Veltro, who wish absolutely nothing far more than to infect a single fifth of the world’s oceans with a new strain of deadly virus, all while quoting The Divine Comedy to make them appear both smarter and a lot more psychotic at the very same time.

Microsoft Flight Available On Feb 29th

microsoftflight 525x252 Microsoft Flight Available On Feb 29th
Microsoft Flight was originally planned to launch in Spring, but now Microsoft have altered their thoughts as Microsoft Flight has been announced to be releasing on February 29th.

The only spot that you will be able to download and access the Microsoft Flight application will be by way of the official Microsoft Flight web site and will be hosting totally free downloads of the application. I doubt you will be seeing the game on Steam any time soon, this is Microsoft we are talking about.

The other piece of news is that when the game launches on the 29th, a piece of DLC will currently be accessible known as “Hawaiian Adventure Pack” and will feature the “remaining Hawaiian Islands, a new plane and 20 new missions” and will be obtainable for $ 19.99. This makes me question how a lot content will in fact be in the cost-free download and how lengthy ahead of you want to download the DLC pack. Other DLC will be releasing (I assume frequently) after the game launches.

Check out Microsoft Flight on Feb 29th for free on the official web site.

Supply: Joystiq

Gravity-Defying Shooter ‘Inversion’ Gets Three New Gameplay Videos

A trio of videos show off the topsy-turvy multiplayer gameplay of the Namco Bandai’s upcoming third-individual shooter.

Over in the comments for a single of Inversion‘s gameplay videos, a user described the Saber Interactive-created shooter as “Gears of Wall” which is a super-apt way of describing what we’re all seeing right here, I feel. The weapons have some fairly intriguing effects, but other than that, the gravity-shifting hook that is touted as becoming at the heart of the game doesn’t get a whole lot of play here (save for a couple of executions). I am hoping Inversion does not fall into the same trap that Capcom’s Dark Void did, i.e. becoming Gears of War but also….

Here’s the official synopsis:

Take on the function of a young father and husband, Davis Russel, who finds himself thrust into war when his peaceful city is invaded by an unknown enemy. With his daughter missing and traditional weapons and tactics all but useless, this ordinary cop and his partner Leo Delgado will rise up to heed the call of duty, master the fundamental forces of gravity and save the globe.
