Keyboard trailer for Rock Band 3 looks challenging
Harmonix has put out a new trailer for Rock Band 3 featuring the new and long-awaited keyboard.
The gameplay footage plays out like one would expect a keyboard interface to: a vertical piano roll with colored shapes meant to match with corresponding notes. The game also seems to offer players a nice option to change the on-screen interface from a realistic keyboard layout, to the familiar Guitar Hero-esque layout.
And like every music game, the trailer puts out a healthy list of songs and artists featured, so do take a look and see if you favorite bands have made the cut.

NBA Jam Eastern Conference Rosters
EA Sports has released the NBA Jam rosters for the Eastern Conference. Each team has 3-4 current players and some have legends and mascots. There is the possibility of roster updates post-release to consider as a few of the rosters are inaccurate due to recent off-season moves. Cryptic’s keeping secrets
Star Trek Online and Champions Online developer Cryptic Studios has a few surprises in store. “Several” of them, in fact.
While not getting too chatty about them, COO Jack Emmert recently revealed to Eurogamer that the studio has “plenty of other games under wraps.”
“That’s kind of cool – you can at least say I let slip that I have other projects underway; I have several other projects here at Cryptic.” And these are projects that “have been underway for quite some time,” he says.
The studio’s most recently announced project, Neverwinter, is expected some time next year.

Microsoft announces 250GB Kinect bundle
Microsoft has yanked the 250GB Xbox 360/Kinect bundle out of rumorville; the 9 Special Edition SKU is now official and will be available as Kinect launches in North America on November 4th, the platform holder’s announced today.
A European release hasn’t been confirmed just yet.
Like with the previously announced stand-alone 9 Kinect and 9 4GB console bundle, the package also includes a copy of jumpy-wavy Kinect Adventures, which will be among the 15 or so games expected to be available as the motion tech launches; all of which could be revealed by the end of next week.
NCAA Football 11 Patch #3 Out on PS3
The third patch and third tuning set for NCAA Football 11 is available on the PS3 yet currently it still has not arrived for the 360. It is unknown how long the 360 side will be waiting after it missed its announced release yesterday. The most immediate issue being corrected with these updates is the pump fake glitch while also fixing the QB spy glitch, adding in-season player progression, and making gameplay tweaks via the tuner.
Unlike the previous updates though this one is prompting largely negative reaction, with defensive issues and low recruit ratings/sliding team ratings cropping up through the years in Dynasty mode. Hopefully some of those things can be addressed in the next tuning release because this is almost certainly the final patch.
