Dragon Age 2 release date, already?

Retail copies of Dragon Age: Origins‘ Awakening expansion have apparently already dated the full-blown sequel to the dark fantasy RPG.
A placard picturing a bloody dragon familiar from the game’s marketing, slipped in the game box, reveals a date that fits right in with the fiscal Q4 release window (ending March 31, 2011) that EA gave the “visually super hot” sequel in a conference call last month: February 1, 2011.

First paid Mass Effect 2 DLC next month

The first paid entry to the growing lineup of Mass Effect 2 downloadable content is set to arrive early next month for both the Xbox 360 and PC versions, Joystiq has learned.
The content, titled Kasumi’s Stolen Memory, will add a female thief to Shepard’s selection of comrades and sends players on ‘a secretive mission of recovery requiring a suave disguise and a run-in with an influential and predictably corrupt art collector’.
A “Locust” SMG, a flash-bang grenade loyalty power and a new Achievement are packed in as well.
The pricing for the hour and a half long content is still under “internal discussion” at BioWare. A release date, however, has been settled on: April 6.

OnLive Cloud Gaming Platform

The OnLive Cloud Gaming platform will be launched on June 17th, 2010. Using this gaming system, the games are actually run from OnLive server, similar to cloud computing so you will be able to buy or rent high-end games such as “Mass Effect 2″ with an older or less powerful computer and Mac without owning such consoles as the Xbox 360 or the PlayStation 3. OnLive will offer new games from publishers such as Electronic Arts Inc., Ubisoft, Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The service will be available only in the U.S., except for Alaska and Hawaii. [Geeky Gadgets]
