MLB 2K10 Demo Videos
After a lengthy process my first HD videos of the MLB 2K10 demo are now live. The recording is one of the first times I played through and it was 3am so there are a few quirks. For example there is a stretch where I throw three or four consecutive wild pitches not realizing I was doing the changeup motion instead of the fastball motion. Also I started rushing things near the end of the second video as I was trying to complete the demo within the 10 minute time limit placed on uploads. Black creator: Current shooter landscape “f***ing boring”
Stuart Black, former senior designer on Criterion’s PS2/Xbox shooter Black, finds a portion of the current shooter scene “f***ing boring,” he told OXM in a recent chat.
“There’s a lot of cover-based shooters out at the moment. But when a guy hunkers down behind something, you’ve just got to sit there and wait for him to pop his head up,” he explains. “Pops up, couple of bullets to his head, pops back down again.. and I’m waiting for him to pop back up again? F***ing boring. I can’t be bothered hanging around like that.”
Good thing he’s the game director of a new first-person shooter property — to be revealed in next month’s issue of OPM — over at Codemasters then, eh?
